FACTS

Supposedly, members of polite society never discuss money, religion, or politics. Well, I only decline to argue about them. However awkward or uncomfortable, the following are true, contrary to any misconception/ misinformation:

  • There is a God and He is good.
  • God did– and still does– major miracles on a daily basis.
  • Don’t get mad at God for you or someone else acting like an idiot.
  • Someday we will each be called to account for how we spent our life.
  • Anyone can be allergic to anything.
  • Current skin prick allergy tests are not consistently accurate.
  • Exposure to an allergen will not lessen sensitivity to it.
  • Cooking an allergen will not remove it or lessen sensitivity to it.
  • It’s possible to be allergic to more than just the protein of a grain.
  • “Organic” doesn’t guarantee the absence of corn; grain- based chemicals are widely considered safe for human consumption.
  • The owner of brand, Epi-pen, who increased its price to 10× the original, also owns its generic, which frequently malfunctions. There us currently a shortage.
  • It isn’t necessarily essential to be hospitalized after using an epi-pen; medical treatment and the shot of epinephrine are both solutions to the same problem: an anaphylactic reaction. Not all anaphylactic reactions cause throat-swelling and not all throat-swelling incidents are fatal. However, the only way to know the severity is to either die or survive. Therefore, an epi-pen is the best immediate course of treatment. Regardless of symptoms, hospitalization is important to help stabilize the immune system and monitor its functioning due to the risk of a potential sudden relapse.
  • Food sensitivity can be limited to genetically modified (GM) foods only.
  • Those with autoimmune disorders are more sensitive to GM food.
  • As of 2018, GM seeds and produce are banned in 39 countries around the world.
  • Few– if any– countries besides the United States experience food allergies in epidemic proportions.
  • The 1st GM product was peanuts. The 1st allergy to become an epidemic was to peanuts, followed by wheat, soy, corn (each GMs) and subsequently dairy.
  • It’s standard farming practice to supplement (if not wholly substitute) cattle feed with irregular/ rejected candy, such as Skittles and Snickers bars– often still in the wrappers– because factories are eager to dispose of it.
  • In 2018, bees were classified as an endangered species. Their dwindling population has been linked to pesticides.
  • It is common practice for beekeepers to supplement their bees’ winter food reserves with corn syrup.
  • Research/ experimentation of Human genetic modification is similar to that of plants. Incidentally, the 1st human with 3 equally contributing biological parents was conceived in 2016.
