Once, a friend borrowed my dryer. She was concerned that some kids, perhaps a niece or a nephew, threw their toys in it. She was referring to rubber balls with little nubby spikes that I bought to fluff my laundry as they bounced around in the dryer.
In a past post I highlighted the many benefits of wool. Needless to say I’m impressed by how fluffy balls of wool compare to plastic ones with charred dryer sheet residue stained into them.
Just ignore the hype in manufacturers’ ads for conventional solutions; it turns out soap berries, sea salt and wool are the perfect laundry combination. Everything’s so soft now!
