Sometimes my feet feel like I’m walking on pins & needles, such as the tingling after my foot falls asleep then the blood comes rushing back. Other times it feels like I’m being brushed by pine needles. Then there’s the throbbing– similar to wrapping a bandage too tightly– and the burning– what I assume walking on hot coals feels like. Today I get all of the above.
It took so long to fall asleep last night because I just couldn’t shake the chills. Then when I woke up this morning I was boiling hot. Now back to the chills plus throbbing and burning in my hands, which are ice cold.
I must conclude there seems to be a team of symptom magicians all performing their competing acts in the three ring circus that is my immune system. Whoopie.
